Weeping Girl

That beautiful girl

Under the blossom tree

Reading her books

She never acknowledged me.

And in my mind

I knew she never would

And even though I wanted to,

I knew I never could.

She was a beautiful, sweet angel

And she never really talked.

And deep down inside,

She kept her heart locked.

She had it broken so many times

She didn't know who to trust.

And she always smiled,

Because she had to adjust.

Adjust to all the fear and all the pain.

Adjust to all the people and all the laughter.

While she wept inside.

And screamed and cried in her pillow after.

That beautiful girl.

Under the wilted blossom tree.

I looked in horror.

As I saw her dangling from that tree.

That beautiful angel.

Wasted and gone.

Due to the pain

That the other people caused.
