Welcome to the New Age

If you arent in a sport,

You aren't "popular."

If you don't smoke or drink,

You aren't "cool."

If you read away reality,

You are a nerd

If you fail a class,

You are considered "stupid."

If you have Straight A's,

You are a show off.

If you are suffering from depression,

You are only wanting attention.

If you refuse to stop smiling,

You are fake.

Welcome to this New Age,

It holds more than it used to.

None of us are ever leaving,

As innocent as we came.

Just a poem of things I've noticed around me.
