What we all do

He stares right through me The feeling of consumption surrounds my air I can see his eyes, solid black with no conscience He seeks me for his own gain To trash what he see's in front of him To kill the soul that I possess Is there anyway to stop him? He finds weakness in my heart And tries to kill my confidence Firing out words of hurt and torture Clinging to things I despise I can't fight this The way these words make me feel Worthless and ugly
