What Will We Do?
What will we do on this darkest day,
When the world just looks then turns away?
Will we cry out in anger or cower in fear?
Will we forsake the ones we hold most dear?
When the world turns to ashes, will they hide in the dark?
When evil spits fire, with they just use the sparks?
Will they all be consumed by apathy;
And simply not care of the darkness they see?
I believe in a world united by light
That is always willing to fight for what’s right
That, if the world turns to ashes, they’ll all stand strong
When faced with the fire, they’ll combat what is wrong
