Who I Am
Everyday of my life
I've mostly spent staring down at the ground.
I don't know why
But I've always been putting my own self down.
But that doesn't mean that you all can just
Push me around.
So just listen to me now.
Just keep on going.
Don't let them tell you otherwise.
Just keep on trying.
They may say that you are nothing,
But their words don't mean a thing.
Just believe in yourself and keep moving on.
Let that anger built up inside you
Be the thing that keeps you going
Cause you know that you have potential
To do great things.
Now show them they're wrong.
This is my passion. It's what I want to be.
But everything that's said you always disagree.
You keep on laughing and trying to put me down.
Why can't you just believe? Don't you see me now?
You must be blind or deaf. How can you not understand?
This is my life and I won't let if fall.
Yet you still can't get that through your head.
Let me show you. I'll prove you wrong.
Just keep on going.
Don't let them tell you otherwise.
Just listen to your heart.
They may say that you are nothing,
But their words don't mean a thing.
Just believe in yourself
And keep moving on.
Let that anger built up inside you
Be the thing that keeps you going
Cause you know that you have potential
To do great things.
Now show them they're wrong
The road's been rough,
And now I've had enough.
This is my time.
The time to shine.
Just keep on going.
Don't let them tell you otherwise.
Look how far you've come..
They may say that you are nothing,
But their words don't mean a thing.
Just believe in yourself and keep moving on.
Let that anger built up inside you
Be the thing that keeps you going
Cause you know that you have potential
To do great things.
Now show them they're wrong.
I've set a course to accomplish
And I'll follow it through and through
I know that this is my destiny
And you can't tell me what to do.
