Who You Are

It's the one you who you don't realize that hurts the most Finding yourself in a world of people who don't care about you Making people smile while you’re tearing into pieces, it’s who you are You can’t help but make others feel wanted but you can’t make myself feel it You get put down for dreaming, for wishing, for believing It’s who you are You’re the person who will put others first even though they have beaten you down Even if they’ve pushed you away You feel safe knowing they are You care about the ones who have never asked if you were ever okay But It’s who you are You cry at night wondering why you could care for people who don’t care about you You push yourself to the extreme knowing you will get hurt You ask yourself “Who Am I?” You are the person who doesn't give up You keep fighting, believing, dreaming Yes we all have bad days, but don’t let those people define your entire life Don’t give them that satisfaction of EMPOWERMENT Stay true to yourself, be yourself Be you Stay true, it’s Who You Are
