To Whom It Does NOT Concern
To whom it does NOT concern,
I am doing perfectly well.
Sure, you don’t really care,
You’re doing just swell.
I really don’t know why
You've forgotten me.
Was I that annoying?
Or were you just angry?
Did I say something wrong?
Miss some trivial fact?
I’m at a loss, if not more,
Then your friendship’s an act.
If you ever truly cared,
Then you’ll listen right now.
To how I've been doing,
Otherwise you’re a cow.
Sure the last bit was crude,
I couldn't help but say.
It’s just the truth,
Deal with it anyway.
My mind’s messed up,
It’s all thanks to you.
Well now is your chance,
The payment’s past due.
I’m sure you've noticed,
How bitter I've grown.
You made me who I am,
But I’m not yours to own.
If I could move on too,
Then I wouldn't be here.
You will never be anymore,
Someone I hold dear.
