Why?

Why does this keep happening! Encompassed with myriads of trials Trying to conquer ,Alas!Only to be conquered I stand once again revitalized Holding on to hope only to experience despair Seriously, why does this keep happening! Countless nights fanning the fire A gale's opportune time to snuff out my desire Under the veil of frightful darkness Frustration and apprehension, apprehending my mind Is this my fate? Is this the gift life gave me well wrapped in a crate? Truly! Truly!Why does this keep happening? Am I bound to this horrid cycle? All my toil and nothing to show Have I drawn the lot of good luck's foe? Should I surrender my vulnerability to this flow? As I gaze up, I see the stars Stars that shine despite the darkness embrace "Oh, how tiny they are just like me." I soliloquize Just before a sigh is released White ethereal rays are revealed Raising hope which was once diseased I believed one's life is illuminated by sun light Which had nothing to do with those lost in night Forgetting the night's rulers Who give light to the night's wanderers Changing the expression on my face Beginning the phoenix rebirth phase Though my life is full of strife A new hope is etched in my heart Depicting my resolve that in the end I will rise
