Why

Anger surges through my mind as I think about the way she did me wrong

Never felt a knife go so deep

months turned to shame in the blink of an eye

The only question I have is why?

Deep in thought

Here I lay
All my thoughts race my way

Thinking about my dismay

All along I was played

by the only person I wanted to stay

She knew it would hurt

She knew i would cry

She knew it would ruin me

Still she tried

Still she lied

All she did was harm my mind

So still all I ask is why?

Sadness courses through my veins as I think about the way she hurt me

Never felt so wounded

So much time all for nothing

The only question I have is why?

Everyone told me no

but her tears said yes

I don’t Regret the times i had

I regret how blind I was

I regret how I let her treat me

The question that keeps running through my head is why?

Why didn’t the rain clouds give me a hint?

Why didn’t he give me a hint

How did I not see it

The only question I have is why?
