why they bully
he's always eager for school to end
they tease and taunt
his jeans never fit right,
he only has two sweaters.
but to them,
it's funny
she goes about her school day embarrassed
they tease and taunt
she wears a hijab
it's her culture.
but to them,
it's stupid
all day she's self-conscious and quiet
they tease and taunt
she can't help it,
she just has a speech impediment.
but to them,
it's annoying
everyone knows how to trigger him
they tease and taunt
he's in a special needs class
but to them,
it's entertainment.
