Word
There is power in words, more power than we know.
If we knew the damage they caused, would it even show?
Our fists are blunt weapons, but words pierce the heart.
Our bodies heal naturally, but our minds stay torn apart.
Battling with our thoughts, hour after hour.
All because of careless words, spit out by someone sour,
Think before you speak, cliche but true.
Because what you say to someone, could come back to hurt you.
