The Words

So, I've been thinking

About what I've been hearing

Those little words

I hear everyday

Harmless right?

I mean it's just an opinion

Just to tell your friends

That keeps up gossip

Opinions do matter

They matter to those

That don't matter to you

People apparently deaf

I'm not deaf

I may not listen

But that doesn't mean

My hearing is bad

Alas, the words still come

Always have

Always will

I just wish I didn't create them

The random facts I say

And the activities I do

Make me an excluded freak

I draw the words they speak

I thought that engineering would be fun

And it is the best

Nobody else around agrees

I'm a disapointment

I wish their words stayed away

Ignorance is a great thing

The only problem is

You can only not know for so long
