Words

Words kill

more than bones heal.

Yet we say

sticks and stones.

How many times do we have to die?

They may break our bones

But you will never understand the fear

behind our insecurities

and the venom you surge into our veins.

It may seem only verbal

but it cuts deeper

than a double bladed razor.

It is a murder weapon we call

words.
