Words Will Forever Hurt Me

I'll never know why she ever said those things.

Around the girls ears she left large odorous rings.

And with every nasty word it would leave a small scar

that felt infected and resembled the color of tar.

she was by far innocent and never a threat

but for some reason she pissed off the cheerleader brunette.

Gym arrived and she ran until her legs got weak

and she ran around that circle like some tiny freak

and she ran until her heart soon felt like giving out

but no matter how much she ran her poblems would'nt dryout.

she just wanted a timeout from this thing we call living

she was so sick and tired of forgiving and forgiving

and when lunch soon came her heart made a choice

it decided that her stomach would not have a voice.

and when she got home her pillow was my only peer

it soaked up all her problems that came in the form of a tear.

One day she woke up to take on a new milestone

It was the firs day of highschool and she didn't feel alone.

She looked pretty good in the mirror she had to admit

then she looked at my reflection and said, "it's okay, you got through it."
