You Are

Ugly, hideous
Stupid, retard
Lesbian, gay
Fat, chubby
Baby girl don’t worry about that

You are beautiful
You are a blessing
You are smart

Those people that made you feel
Like a worthless piece of shit
Those people that made you cry
Those people that have made you cut your arms
Those people who have put you down
Those people who have pushed you every day
Those people who have laughed at you
Those people who made your life meaningless
Those people who threatened you
Those people who stole your happiness, your innocence
Those people who crushed your wall of confidence
Those people don’t deserve to be called people

They are monsters full of hate and anger
Who only satisfy their dark soul with the pain of others.
They are hungry,
Still looking for more souls to break.
Hurt people hurt people,
But don’t be that monster
Who is hurt and wants to hurt others.

Don’t let the past keep you from moving forward.
Don’t cover your face with makeup
Because YOU are a warrior:
Wipe off that foundation
And reveal the scars that have shaped you
Into the strong women you are today.

You are beautiful
You are a blessing
You are smart

I know it will take some time
Some time for your cuts to heal
And some time to rebuild your wall of confidence
But when you rebuild your wall
Build a fortress behind it
I promise you
No one will dare to destroy that fortress
The one you have built with  love, happiness,  and hope

Words hurt
But be that person who
Makes their words count
Be that person who
Loves and cares for many
Be that person who
Still has hopes and dreams
Who hopes for a better future
Who dreams of an "impossible" reality

Ugly, hideous
Stupid, retard
Lesbian, gay
Fat, chubby
Baby girl these are just labels
labels that don't define who you truly are.

Baby girl never forget that
You are beautiful
You are a blessing
You are smart
