your "dike"

alone burning with anger

becoming stone the only defense

she gets hate from a stranger

she didn't do anything worth offense

.

she walked covered in bruises

past every person who could've help

but they said nothing: too scared

and by doing so they were just as guilty

.

she loved with all of her heart

and that was fine for them, but

who she loved gave them a start

They claimed improper conduct

.

the bullies loved to leave notes

all the notes shared the same word

it did hurt the first few times

but her soul died, she was numb

.

she knew what to do

and she would follow through

she left them all a letter

and she laid for her final rest

they read and she had wished them the best

ending her note with sincerely your "dike"
