Insignificant Without

There is someone in my life,

I always know is there.

He'll never ever leave me;

He's the answer to my prayer.

He's my end and my beginning

Though he doesn't know it yet.

He's the person in my life

That I will never just forget.

It would take a million years or more of constant crucial pain

And a feeling in my heart and mind that I might be insane.

And even then, I think my life would stop if He were gone.

Because with Him I matter; He makes me a phenomenon.

I am a diamond: strong, magnificent;

Without Him, insignificant.

He makes my life worth singing about.

For I would be insignificant without.
