Love Takes Center Stage
My love for you is like no other love
Never before have I felt as I feel
When standing with your lights shining above
I feel my stage’s love, almost unreal
The fact that you let me share completes me
Without you I would be lost in a world
That shuns feeling and life of joyful glee
I’m so grateful for this happy unfurl
The world outside of you can be so cruel
I can’t act on it as I can with you
Singing, dancing without a care for rule
And they don’t let male foundation come through
Now that I’ve lived sixteen whole years of age
I know that my true love is for the stage
