Mother Nature.

She weeps.
Not for her own destruction,
Not for her own suffocation,
Not for her own eroding.
She weeps.
Because children are dying in the streets.
Because greed is more important than helping someone in need.
She weeps.
Because living is not worth living when kids are scared to go to school.
Because you can't see a eating disorder unless you can count their ribs, hold their hair as they puke or watch them gain pound after pound to cope with the pain.
She weeps.
Not for the population that fills our lungs,
But the pollution that fills our hearts.
She weeps.
For the trees in the rainforest and the creatures of the earth.
She weeps.
Because her most coveted creation has taken over the earth and is slowly killing her.
