Summer Nights

warm breeze and a dark sky

with stars peeking through

and underneath we're laughing

we're dancing

we're falling

every accident turned adventure

keeping our eyes open

firelight

our own stories

sticks burning

warm hearts and glowing eyes

feeling where we hurt without meaning it

holding each other anyways

we're pioneers who crave another taste of tomorrow

and sometimes we get lost on purpose

and wonder how far from the path we flew

wandering contented, yearning to go deeper

and summer spelled HOPE

and through it we're laughing

we're dancing

we're falling

into these summer nights
