This is a painting (piece of art) I created for this scholarship embodying modern day racism. My cousin (who I painted) was at a birthday party and none of the other white kids wanted to play with her. She is only 4 years old and knows what racism is. Through this painting I wanted to show the pain that black people, even as kids, that their ancestors felt so long ago.
