The sunset makes me happy
It settles me calmly
Giving an immense peace
Much reflection and thought
Gained through the quiet and serene
As I practice taking steps and walking
Through life, the sunset ends
As each day is over
Rising again as I go on
Walking and not giving up on practicing
The sunset to me
Symbolizes a new beginning
And that even though
I sometimes grow tired
And my steps grow weaker
That I must never give up
Lose faith and hope
Never
Because the sunset represents
To me a possibility
That if I keep trying and practicing
I will one day walk on my own
For the sunset to me represents
My new beginnings
