48 days of siege

 48 days of siege

By A.R.T

Ottomans gather outside the wall

They fire their cannons and taunt us

We await salvation for 48 days

So continued the siege of vienna

But then they threw grenades over the walls

We took cover but to no avail

We took many losses but still

Held on

Then the hussars arrived

They came down the mountain side

The ottomans retreated and we were saved

We survived the 48 day siege
