A boy born to be king,

who became a nameless hero.

A boy with visions and headaches,

who was said to be a freak of nature.

 

A boy with a headstrong brother,

and a drunken adopted father.

A boy with unimaginable talent,

who never received praise.

 

A boy who loved a girl with yellow hair,

but a fire came to burn her away.

A boy who had light in his eyes,

but they grew dim, dark, black.

 

A boy who endeavoured to save everyone,

and so, he saved the whole world.

A boy who owed everything to his brother,

because family always comes first.

 

A boy who would never be king,

but rather he would fall.

Would this boy survive?

No one would know until his return,

when he would no longer have a soul.
