Abstract Beginnings

Serenity.

It's the sound of the ground's heart beat,

Buh-boom. Buh-boom.

The birds fly west just before the sun sets

And I swear, nothing is more beautiful than this moment.

I close my eyes and listen to the beauty around me

How lucky am I to merely exist?

With every sunset our day is wiped clean,

And we are left with a miraculous, white, blank canvas,

Awaiting to be plastered with vivid sceneries and abstract thoughts

Tomorrow is a brand new day.
