The Abundance Of Light

Location

They say actions speak the loudest

So I make my smile shout

Raw, unadulterated laughter and wonder and sheer delight

cloaked within blonde tangles that cascade from time to time

But more often choose to messily disobey gravity.

Yes, I piroette through an infinity of laughter.

Eyes that are a gray storm,

Blizzarding freckles;

A whirlwind of a girl.

But there are quiet days;

There are crying days;

Days I tip-toe upon a tightrope of doubt.

I treasure these:

The rarity of dark allows appreciation of

And thankfuless for

The abundance of light.
