All’s Well that Ends Well

All’s well that ends well

Or so we’re told.

Aren’t we all just counting down the days

Until we grow bored and old?

Living for loving and laughing

Doesn’t mean as much as it did years ago.

Get up, work our tails off, repeat.

That’s all we’re taught, so that’s all we know.

Pressure building up like a wall between us,

We don’t have time for each other anymore.

All work and no play these days,

Who knew life was such a bore?

For goodness’ sake, go somewhere,

Meet people, put a smile on their face.

A healthy brain’s good, and a healthy heart’s better.

Every day open up your heart and make it race.

We’ve got one life to live, that’s all we’re given.

How we use it is up to ourselves.

Do it the way you’ve always wanted to,

And don’t listen to anyone else.
