in all fairness

Why fall in love with things that are ephemeral

when it is not fair

but nothing is

my lips stained with dark lipstick its called mulberry and its your favorite

my mouth taste like sweet wine

bitter

and I have not had a taste in months

my doctors advised me so

and while she smells sweet flowers

I smell sweet second hand smoke

"do you know squares kill?"

of course I do what a stupid question

why else would I be here

on Michigan Avenue in front of this unknown building

inhaling and exhaling from a distance

I am limiting my self

what is fairness because 3 months ago you got a new lover and I got cancer
