To All The Underdogs

There are times in life when you care about a person and are torn, but why are we lighting ourselves on fire, to keep them warm?

We are taught when we’re young that there are bad people in this world who’d want to hurt us, but who knew that that person would be the one standing next to us?

All throughout life we go day after day dealing with hurt and betrayal, when we need to be the ones who come out on top; the ones we all hail.

We are taught that everyone deserves a second chance, but not all people know how to enhance.

Let this be the time dedicated to the underdogs; the ones underappreciated. Because after all, they are the ones that are almost always hated.

And one day when we look back and see what got us here, in comparison to our accomplishments, they'll be nowhere near.
