Ashes of the Phoenix Pt. 1: Intro

With beginnings, there are ends

But with ends, there are beginnings

Though there is death, there is life

In darkness, there is light

Loss and love, all throughout the strife

The stories carry us through the night

And there will be peace, with love in friends

With ends there are beginnings,

And beginnings there are ends

Life starts with a death, a new bud

Light arises from the darkness

Better loved and lost than to be loveless

Words whispered in goodnights and farewells

And truth rises from the grave

Like the phoenix rises from the ashes

Though at the end of the day the fire burns out

The passion will grow stronger with every snuff

Resilience blooms only from oppression

True happiness comes from knowing depression

Knowledge is the fruit of ignorance

Where one cannot be great without having been lowly

And all that there is, all that were

We will continue to exist, and to live

Lives and memories filling our lungs and hearts

For all that there is only one thing is sure

There will be death, there will be an end

Darkness and loss, come and go of friends

But there will also be truth that will rise

Like a phoenix from the ashes of its past.
