Beautiful Rose

You're shattered. You're broken.

Not thinkin' anyone knows.

You trudge on, resent all, for the pain from the stones they've thrown.

But there's this secret I'm letting out. You didn't know I was here all throughout:

I STAND TALL on the mountaintop.

I SHOUT LOUD and I fight fierce for the one who can't stand on their own in this town.

In this life you're not alone. The sun is shining brightly upon you, Beautiful Rose.

Your scars are still open... infected with self doubt.

The memories

Replayin',

Even though you've tried pushin' them out.

But there's this secret I'm letting out. You didn't know I was here all throughout:

I STAND TALL on the mountantop.

I SHOUT LOUD and I fight fierce for the one who can't stand on their own in this town.

In this life you're not alone. The sun is shining brightly upon you, Beautiful Rose.
