The Beauty That is ME!
Location
I tend to hide my face.
The filters hide the flaws.
Who am I before the filters replace?
Would anyone stand in awe?
It is hard to put me in focus
to truly step back and see
Does anybody else notice
The beauty that is me.
I am just a simple sinner
but I am more than my mistakes.
I do not need to be any thinner.
I have had my fair share of heart breaks.
I am more than past.
Anybody could agree
This beauty will last
The beauty that is me.
I am whole
yet I am broken
I have mastered self-control.
And with these words I have spoken,
I know I'll never be her again.
The girl who used to be all I could be
Thank God, hallejuh amen
For the beauty that is me.
Perfection is overated.
Beauty is pricy.
I cannot be hated
For the beauty that is me.
