Bed

You’re warm and cozy at night, plush and soft

But not only at night, also at day

Everyone uses you, you cause no fright

I lay down, my sorrows are kept at bay

Pillows and pillows to keep my head snug

Once they’re warm, they’re turned to their cooler side

I drown in them, drifting like a slow slug

By the end of the day, I feel I’ve died

Soft or firm, you’re comfortable to me,

Some prefer springy, others great stiffness

I prefer memory foam, can’t you see

When I leave you, I am full of sadness

You’re a hindrance to my activities

Nevermind, more like a nuisance really
