Bittersweet

She prefers to be called Maddie instead of Madeline

Madeline was a little girl who wore her heart on her sleeve

Madeline was a little girl who sat alone at lunch

Madeline was a little girl who who cried in class when she was called fat

Maddie is a girl who buries her emotions deep inside her heart

Maddie is a girl who simply skips lunch

Maddie is a girl who cries quietly at night after glaring at her reflection in the mirror

She prefers to be called Maddie instead of Madeline

Never wanting to be Madeline ever again
