Bombs

The old town is now unrecognizable

The school built by the hands of each villager

Has been broken into pieces

Homes that used to be filled by families that hoarded around the tv while eating their dinner

Are now empty

The garden once filled with flowers and vegetables that the children planted and guarded

Are no longer green

The 1 bomb, 1 bomb, 1 bomb

That’s all it took to destroy this old town

The town I once called my home

This poem is about:
Me
My family
