bulletproof

i'd like to say I'm bulletproof
but thats not true
cause the rounds get through
when I'm around you

when you're down
the ground breaks through
with hands reaching up to take you
but I'm not giving up
i'm still trying to save you

but its getting hard
dodging the bullets fired on the yard
cause when it comes to you i let down my guard
and it seems lately like the light isn't that far
