Cabin

A haunted house is better than no shelter.

I feel dumb with you, yet numb without you

You are the winter light on the coldest wind of Kugaaruk.

You shine a light on me, yet my bones are trembling by the frigid air.

You are busy crafting your own ship to sail beyond the sea.

at the same time,

I am busy walking the trail to the peak of the hill.

In the sea of solitude, the oblivion aimed.

With the great disparities. I enamourd upon you.

But you gave me this cabin.

1000 square feet filled with insecurities.

You want me to ponder,

that my whole soul will never be aligned with yours.
