Chemistry makes my brain cells pop

Not knowing is what makes me rock.

Like a stone that will grow no moss

I must push to let others know my thoughts

Chemistry to kill cancer cells, we must defeat.

Defiantly I research until I am knocked off my feet

Electrochemical reduction of CO2 to acetic acid

Some people may laugh and call me flaccid.

A science geek perhaps, but chemistry, that’s where it’s at

Creating energy to help the Earth stay green

Without chemistry, there would be no life and much more strife

Chemistry keeps me wired, like a reaction between nitroglycerin and a fuse on fire

The more people challenge the more I persevere

I will keep going with nothing to fear
