The Child Left Behind.

Location

A child is born, a child is forgotten.

One is celebrated, while slowly the other fades into the background.

One is cherised, one is tossed aside like a limp rag doll.

One is put on a pedistal, the other is ignored.

We don't have time enough for both of you.

She needs us more than you.

One child gets loving parents dotting over her every move.

The other is sent away to someone else.

The child, now an adult still wonders what they did wrong.

The pain of being forgotten, to never go away.
