Chocolate

Your skin seeming so right and perfect
Imperfections seeming false upon your assumptions
A work of art I see
That skin ooo how I wanna feel
Chocolate Carmel all that you are
Your many skin tones great like you are
Society deeming you insignificant
That your an animal and haven't evolved
But there wrong you were first man
Who moved all over the world
Making your stamp among man kind like the kings beforehand
You are royal in your heart and skin
But decide to choose those fatal sins
From repin that hood that you say that got you
To that hoe that gave you that oo wee baby it's you
Why that hood and not you that person who's the king in you
To do big things and show your a leader to being that big brother that's able to be counted on
Do you get a kick out of that satisfaction that only lasted a fraction
While you have to live with disease for the rest of your life due to a simple fraction
Young men lossing their life's to the medias type of worthwhile
Instead of your own interpretation of the life that's wild
Demonstrating you truly don't care
That our ancestors work and pain was all for nothing but the end
What you lack is inabition to create a nation
But really need is a new clarity
To truly believe that you are a king
With that skin so smooth and heart so pure
That you have deveined right to be who you are
Because you are carved from many years of pain that's made it easier
To dream to be bigger than what you are and create a better dream
For your children and those after you
And inspire and create for that true AFRICAN  PRINCESS that you have made QUEEN
Showing her that her chocolate skin is a blessing that makes her truly BEAUTIFUL
Filling her head full of creative thoughts that could be possible within a fraction of one night
Saying sweet lullaby and ilove yous
Explaining her worth isn't found within her virtue
That her diamonds are her greatest weapons and treasures because that chocolate skin
Oh that chocolate skin just keeps them running
Running to lay hands on what they believe they can
But because she knows her worth from her king who's taught her so
She learns never to steep so low
Seeking acceptance in showing skin
Just to receive sins that are dear like friends
Don't be afraid to let her see that truth
But embrace it and explain that all we've been through from evolution to being non existed to being lower than mans bestfriend wasn't her fault
Explain explain while you still can because curiosity will get her again
Tell her tell her so she never feels those deadly sins of hurt by her beautiful CHOCOLATE SKIN
