Climate Rush

Location

The rush of rain crashes down,

And darkened skies cloud the town.

Gloomy feelings shift through the air,

With people feeling like they don’t care.

The hope for sunshine flows through my mind,

And I count the raindrops, one at a time.

Drops of rain slowly come to a stop,

And the Sun’s head peaks out over the top.

Breaking through the clouds, its shine is so bright!

Only to be covered by the darkness of night.

But all gloomy thoughts gradually slip away,

And the Sun brings joy for the rest of the day.
