Colorful Rejoice

Rejoice.

For the sun has flown down to the earth

and snuggled up into the veins of the trees.

Splashing the world with color

As tips of leaves ignite

and string a spark upon the land

setting cities on fire.

The warmth slumbers in the threads

of our knit sweaters embracing us in series of comfort.

A gentle breeze tickles the cheeks pink,

frost the hands blue,

reminding us that our colors

change too.
