Colors

They robbed, you forgave and you forgot.
When he took you away from the land of the mother
He took your sanity.
Made you forget the brother from the same struggle is your family.
You forgave so you behave with endangered ways
No it won't change once a slave always a slave
They don't believe so you forget.
You forget that you were created from the highest and richest forever's eternity.
Yet you add fuel to the fire by burning weed
Let go of your conscience because they told you that you're desire for wisdom was nonsense
Your dad wasn't shit, your mom wasnt shit, and you
of course you wont be shit
You prove them right and burry your soul with morals dark as night
It isnt right brothers and sisters put up a fight
Take a Stand
Put a fist in the air because you will you can
Not a dope man
You're the hope man
Given hope land full of promise
Nigga would fly out my mouth in every sentence im just being honest
No guidance no one for confidance
Then you'll realise you degrade your self more than they do
Wont open your heart to love because you hate you
Now you're playing yourself
Impregnate the sisters of the world but you wont give her no help
Who raised you?
You missed out on the hugs from your dad so your child will too?
What did you say sister?
If he has no money he cant be your man?
He has no education so withdraw your begging hand better remind that brother he will he can
That baby wont make him stay and now you only see skies of grey
Dont become blind to the color
Green for the land robbed from the mother
Black because were one nation under God and I call you brother
Red because were all one blood and though we shed the same tears
To compromise with your family is your deepest fears
400 plus years of captivity
300 plus of conspiracy and oppression
Through it all you have blinded your eyes to the deepest lesson
One Love
