Counting Doubts

Location

To count on both hands

how many flaws I have,

but to see it adds up to more than 6,

you must be mistaken.

Then I realize,

it is not my flaws that are counted,

no it is the flaws that society,

claims I must have.

Too fat, too short, too pale and too ugly,

is what i hear,

it is what many hear,

but i have opened my eyes as society keeps theirs closed.

My only flaw was believing that I had any,

I am beautiful the way i am,

you are beautiful the way you are,

We are flawless,

I am flawless.
