Day by Day

Sat, 06/27/2015 - 21:47 -- zari.

Day by day, by day; I've waited to hear you say my name that wasn't my name.

Baby.

I've waited for you to save me from this wrecked mind of mine, processed of loneliness and depression, crushed with every single emotion you can imagine.

Day by day; if only you knew you were the sunshine to my cloudy day, but I only feel like I was bringing the rain to yours,

You see, this mind of mine is so wrecked.

And I only wish it would come correct and understand that day by day, we wouldn't join hand and hand, but side by side, like we're buddies.

I want the word friend to turn into a relationship of lovers that would never end.

I want the glow in your eye to be because of me, not from the reflection of the sky.

I want your lips against mines all the time.

I want to spend every dime of mine on you.

I want every day to bring something brand new, not the old things you were use to.

I want your hugs and kisses every day,

And day by day, I've waited for you say my name that wasn't my name.

Baby.

Day by day, by day.

I'll wait forever.
