Dear Glass Child

Dear glass child
How have you been?
I haven't from you in a while
Knowing that you safe and sound
You walked out of harms way
Stood in silence
As you turned your hands into fists
Smiling underneath the sun
Not knowing a problem in the world
Though have you forgotten?
For a minute you held your breathe
Swallowed your pride
Told yourself that you would be fine
Then for a hour you let go
Holding your tears back in defeat
Knowing that the game has been won
Though a game is a game
A fight is a battle
You had fought countless of battles
Fell to your knees and cried
Yet precious child
Remember you are not alone
I am standing here beside you
Take my hand
And together we shall march
Into our own victory

Dear glass child
Close your eyes
Say that you are well
You lived to tell several tales
Laughed at life's joys
Rejoiced in your victories
You had created many remarks
Left memories unfold
You are a light in the darkness
A source in the sky
You are brilliant yes indeed
You kept moving on
Letting nothing stand in your way
But even through you moved on
You seem to look back
Sweet Child why do you look back?
There is a journey waiting
Out in the distance
There is no time to waste
You must move on
Dear glass child
Are you listening?
Your dreams are filled with wonders
Goals are yet to be fulfilled
You let yourself go
As you spread your wings
Learned how to fly
You seen the sun rise in the day
Moon sleep in the night
As life took on it's course
You love staring off into the distance
Yet as you stared you questioned
When and how
You would be able to fit in
With the moon and the sun?
Glass child you do fit in
Though you are more than the moon
Brighter than the sun
And valuable like
A sea of diamonds
You are meant to soar
Fly off into the horizion
With no doubts
But high spirits
You have an adventurous soul
You are meant to travel  Never stop flying
You must stand strong
Never look back
Keep on moving forward
And do not shatter
Because I beileve in you
