Dear Mr. President

I'm not talking to Mr. Trump

But every man that's helped make the oval office a dump

How could you do such things to your country?

Ignoring problems and looking away as the police punch me

Setting a bad example of leadership

"Inspiring" men to steer their own ship

So caught up in their legacy

Overlooking lasting change in favor of looking fancy

Yelling doesn't seem to work

Maybe writing will make you see how much of jerk

You've been to Americans

You banished Indians

Enslaved Africans

Refusing to treat them as fellow man

You ask why crime is so high

But you limit options so understand that when people kill and lie

Inside they just want to cry

We don't see a way out

We send scouts

But you shoot them down

Or just made them look like a clown

You let Congress ruin people's lives

You've upgraded the quality of life from a wasp nest to a beehive

You disobeyed the Constitution you helped write

But that's ok because you're white

You started out as immigrants

Now against the same people you've taken a stance

You hypocrite

You just sit

And watch as Rome burns

Take responsibility and play your turn

Do something to effect change that lasts

Or you'll just keep hearing about black men getting hit with police blasts

Me
My country
