December Morning

Thu, 10/05/2017 - 12:10 -- lowa

You left me that December morning.

The cold breeze leaving me in daze.

Oh, how was I so stupid,

To have loved you like a fool.

You took me to a higher place.

Only quite a few have ever been.

Warmness engulfed me as you viciously attacked my neck.

Only moments later has realization struck me in the head.

Oh, I was very stupid to have welcomed you in my bed.

Oh, that brief December morning filled me with so much regret.
