Why does it cost so much to go to school 

I was never a rich kid and I wasnt really cool 

My parents didnt have the money to send me to school 

The other kids laughed at me and called me a fool 

So i took out loan after loan 

I wish I didnt have to but i didnt have a choice 

If i could  change one thing it would be to have a voice 

I would tell our leaders to make school free 

Becasue the cure for cancer could be in you and me 

but we will never know cuz we cant pay for our eduction 

So lets stand together as one nation
