Emotional Life

part two

 

Surveying the beauty of nature and enjoy the natural senses.

To feel a special feeling as they well up deep inside.

To be drawn in fascination as admiration so advances

You are drawn into deep pleasure as emotions rise high in flight.

 

This is not inspiration even though it is not a curse.

For God inspires through Himself the conditions of your being.

This may truly happen when conditions are the worst

As everything seems to fall apart as into the ground they’re fleeing. (wishing they were dead)

 

God opens the eyes of faith and helps to understand

The Eternal purpose of the temporal in dis-array.

It is not like emotion that searches for a bandage

But withers the very moment when outside help is frayed.

 

 

The mark of emotion shows dejection and excitement as well.

Driven by emotion     many errors discovered and can be found.

Committed by a Christian whose impulses contract or swell

Cause reluctance of the outer man who keeps the inner tightly bound.

 

When a man hungers to be a spiritual man … powerful emotions overwhelm him.

When spirituality really gets a hold … emotions pretend to be his spiritual sense.

The spirit will be imprisoned again for it cannot freely flow through him

Still this state is worse than the first for now he thinks ... arrived from hence.
